We’ve built many strong relationships with our friends in Haiti, and it’s a great privilege to be able to meet their need for a new home.

Wilfrid served as an interpreter for one of our teams as they worked on a project in Haiti. After the project was completed, he stayed in the area with several of his friends and helped our local partners with their vital work, including building houses for local widows.

For many years, Wilfrid dreamed of building a safe, new home for his mother, Dieuna Bien-Aime. He saved for many years but realized he needed help to make his dream a reality. It was a privilege for Hope Rising Haiti to help him build this house for his mother.

After the home was built, Wilfrid and his wife Beatrice moved in with his mother, as is the tradition in Haiti. They’re grateful that they have a sturdy and comfortable home to raise their children.

Praise God for faithful servants like Wilfrid who help us serve the wonderful people of Haiti. We are grateful for your prayer and support which help us build safe homes for those who give their lives to serve others.
