As 2015 came to a close we were blessed to welcome several new partners to the Hope Rising Haiti family. We were overwhelmed with how the Lord provided financially and are quite humbled to extend our heartfelt gratitude to you for your generosity and excitement. We surpassed our end of year financial goals and praise Jesus for His provision through you!

Exciting Work in 2016

We walked less than one mile outside the security of the walls of All God’s Children Orphanage and everywhere we went we saw people who needed housing and clean water. Hundreds of people in Fedja lack adequate shelter to provide basic safety and stability to their families.

As you read in a previous newsletter, we met Adrillene Python, a grandmother living under banana leaves and tar paper, who we will build a home for in March 2016.

But we don’t want to stop there.

We have a dream to build 50 new homes in Haiti. We want to replace the dilapidated structures with constructed, permanent homes.

Building these homes not only provides a necessity for life, but they are a vehicle for the Gospel to go forth among this nation. A new home in Fedja will bring:

– Stability and safety to families
– Show people their value as image bearers of God
– Display the greatness of God’s provision for all people
– Allow the community to hear and experience the Gospel of Jesus Christ
