New Home Complete for Family of 11
Sister Suzette Montas was living in a small, narrow house with her husband, their eight children, and one granddaughter. Thanks to your prayers and support, her family has a new home!
“Thank you to God for all of our blessings,” she says. “I have an endless smile on my lips and my kids feel the same. I will welcome friends into our home to pass time and to get out of the sun. Thank you so much my brothers and sisters in Christ. I am asking God to keep blessing you so you can continue to help others who are in the same situation I was. Thank you so much!”
Their former house was extremely cramped, and the family didn’t have enough room for everyone to sleep comfortably. Suzette often slept at a church at the top of a mountain on the other side of the river near their home. To protect their children and their home at night, Suzette’s husband slept on the porch. Due to the home’s poor condition, the rainy season was extremely challenging for the family.
With construction complete and the family moved in, gone are the sleepless nights wondering if the roof will survive the force of the driving rain. Gone are the nights trying to decide who sleeps on the floor. Gone are the nights of a family separated by the lack of space. God has answered their prayers!
Let There Be Light!
During construction, the crew discovered access to the local electric lines. It was determined that it would be fairly simple to add electricity to this home and our crew quickly added this to their plan. Not only does this family have a new home, they have light to turn on at night and electricity to prepare meals.
Light has indeed been added to this family’s home in more ways than one. Thank you for showing them the love of Jesus through your support.
