Like many communities in Haiti, the people of Passepomme spent many years without a safe water source for eating, drinking, and bathing. Without this critical resource, their only choices were to get their water from streams, springs, or other unclean water sources that were often shared with animals, which put them at risk for serious illness.

With the help of generous Hope Rising Haiti donors, we were able to dig a well and provide this community with safe, clean drinking water for generations to come.
