Lonise Jasmine is a faithful woman who works with children at the GVCM orphanage. For years, she has dreamed of having a safe, sturdy home for her and her family to live in, but challenging circumstances have prevented her from finishing the construction on her home. With the help of Hope Rising Haiti, she can complete her home and bring her whole family together under one roof. 

Lonise and her husband originally planned to build her home on another piece of land many years ago, but another person claimed the land they thought their family had purchased. The family again saved up money and bought another piece of land, but due to Lonise’s responsibilities at the orphanage, they were unable to complete construction. Her husband currently lives in the single finished room of the home, while Lonise and her children live at the orphanage.

Lonise came to Hope Rising Haiti to ask for help completing her home so her family could be together again. We would like to bless this faithful woman with a safe, sturdy house.
