At the age of 65, Jonas has been serving in his church for many years. Jonas was blessed with help from Hope Rising Haiti in the past, receiving an important gift that helped him start the construction of a safe, sturdy home for his family. 

After Jonas began building his new house, he realized that he needed assistance to complete his home. Because of the faithfulness of God, Hope Rising Haiti, and other supporters who helped him previously, he requested more help from them to finish construction on his house. Our local partners visited his home, and estimated that it would take $4000 to complete the project.

“Through love and mercy, God started blessing my family and I hope he will keep blessing us!” Jonas said.
