Dalegrand is a large community of 8,000 people, located on the north side of Thomassique. The greater community had previously been sharing spring water for bathing, drinking, and washing. The water was likely contaminated by animals and bacteria, which poses a health risk to the entire community.

The daily travel for water and purification process was a heavy burden. The people of Dalegrand prayed for a new well and remained faithful that God would answer their prayers

We are happy to report that through your generous support and blessings from God, Hope Rising Haiti received funds to drill three new wells in the Thomassique area. With the completion of this well in Dalegrand, all three wells are providing water to these faithful communities.
