While in Bible college over 25 years ago, Blake and Marci LaMunyon became friends with a Haitian student named Yves Prophete.
A few years later, Blake travelled with Yves to Haiti and saw firsthand the needs of its people. What began as a friendship quickly blossomed into a partnership in Haiti and a desire to see their spiritual and physical needs met.
After many years of partnership with Pastor Yves, Global Vision Citadelle Ministries (GVCM), and many other faithful Haitians, Blake and Marci have built a network of connections which has resulted in changed lives for the people of Haiti.
Today, Hope Rising Haiti is focused on creating partnerships between people, churches, schools and businesses in the United States with on-site ministries in Haiti.
Our dream is that these partnerships will lead to a prosperous future rising for the people in Haiti filled with material provisions and spiritual blessings.

Hope Rising Haiti has adopted the Statement of Faith from the National Association of Evangelicals.
