“I am so excited and very proud of my house. I don’t have enough words to explain it. I am proud of my God. He gave me another chance at life.” – Claudette Lubin

Claudette Lubin and her family lived in what she referred to as “a little broken house.” Whenever the rainy season hit, the house’s rickety structure was threatened as rainwater poured in and wind shook the house. This is not an ideal way for anyone to live, especially a family with eight children. As the sole caretaker of her children, Claudette had been praying for God to send his blessing to her family.

We are so blessed to have been a small part of answering Claudette’s prayers. The construction was completed in November of 2020, and Claudette and her family have a new home! 

“It is a very big blessing from my God and a gift from my brothers and sisters at Hope Rising Haiti. I spent a long time living in a broken little house that didn’t have a latrine. Now, it’s very meaningful for me to have this beautiful house. There are no words to explain the gratefulness I feel in my heart and the love I feel for you,” Claudette said. 

We are blessed to be part of God’s work helping Claudette and her family.
