Dirt floors, stick walls, and metal scraps are often the most advanced materials used in the simple houses of most of our widow friends. These houses leak, fall over and offer little basic comforts or respect.
Our ministry partner, Global Vision Citadelle Ministries, GVCM.org, has identified many widows who live in vital need for decent housing. We have plans ready to start construction on four widows’ homes – as soon as we have funding. It costs $6,500 to build one new home in Haiti for these courageous widows.
This is the old and new home we built for Miguelange.
One new home will have a concrete floor and concrete walls, doors that lock – providing needed safety and privacy, and a new metal non-leaking roof. Please, join us in praying for and providing these precious ladies with a new home.
