A one hour flight is all it takes to travel from the USA to the poorest country in the western hemisphere.
Unfortunately, with the busyness of our lives and the ever-changing news cycle, our friends in Haiti are quickly overlooked if there is not a major natural disaster in the area.
But for our Haitian friends, hunger and thirst are a daily reality. Orphanages are commonplace and their needs are great. Physical and spiritual poverty are wide-spread.

What started as a friendship between two college students, one Haitian and one American, has grown into a network of faithful relationships with churches, businesses, and schools. We exist to connect those who want to help with those who need it most, and for the past 25 years, we’ve been doing just that:

Many people we talk to in the US feel like they have nothing substantial to offer, or at the very least, they don’t know where to start. Even the smallest amount of support goes a long way in a place where the majority of the population lives in abject poverty.

Hope Rising Haiti was built out of the friendship between Blake and Marci LaMunyon and Pastor Yves Prophete. As their relationship grew over the years, roots were planted in Haiti, which are now bearing fruit.
Our vision is to help create a prosperous future for the people of Haiti, which includes both material and spiritual provisions.
